It's a technique used to turn a inhospitable place into a thriving self-sustained community, they can be made in deserts on earth or even on the moon or mars. Providing al the basics need to live inside a dome.

The Process

It all starts with a survey of the region to find a good location with potential water and raw material that can be extract for several stages of the process thus minimizing the costs of production and transport, then once a deposit rich in minerals is found production of the supporting beams can began, which then they are immediately transported to site to start to be assembled by bots.

Meanwhile two other components are made to involve the dome, thick panels of transparent aluminum used for protection and to isolate from any external affects and the other is transparent luminescent solar concentrator used to absorb solar energy that will be used to power the dome.

Several other smaller components are also assembled at the same time by a advance automated line of production that can resist any type of condition.

After the dome is assembled the process of terraforming starts, if there's water available in the atmosphere the dome can collect and treat for consumption, otherwise it has to collect from underground or some place nearby like a lake or even
